Two Papua New Guinean artists are in Australia taking part in a Street Art Festival in the Northern Territory’s city of Darwin.
The festival brings together artists from many countries to showcase their talent.
Robert Banasi and Morgan Lapavo have been painting their street art at the event.
Mr Banasi says while the life of the artist can be challenging, back home in PNG it was important because it identified the struggles of ordinary people.
“Art has ben part of our lives, it doesnt matter where you come from, the grass-skirts that we wear, the armbands, the headbands… everything is art and our lives as Papua New Guineans has been surrounded by art,” he said.
