Project Buy-Back Initiative

YouTuber Logan Paul is offering refunds for the never-released CryptoZoo NFT game. Logan Paul is buying back Base Egg and Base Animal CryptoZoo NFTs for their original purchase price through an initiative dubbed EggNFTBuyBack.

CryptoZoo Game that Never Released

CryptoZoo was a planned play-to-earn game introduced in 2021, involving trading animal NFTs. However, the game never released. Logan Paul claims he personally lost $400,000 on the project and earned nothing.

More than $2.3 million is committed by Logan Paul for the buy-back initiative. The buy-back program is not for compensating market losses but for those who intended to play the game.

Applying for Refunds

Claims for refunds can be submitted through EGGNFTBUYBACK.COM until February 8. Eligible NFTs will be bought back at 0.1 ETH each, equivalent to $224 at the time of reporting.

Claimants must provide KYC information and details about their NFTs and wallet addresses. Claimants have 30 days from the notification email to submit NFTs and cannot move their NFTs in the meantime.

Legal Waiver and Project Value

Claimants waiving their right to sue also forfeit any right to monetary or equitable relief related to CryptoZoo.The buy-back is not an admission of legal or financial responsibility by Logan Paul.

The value of the CryptoZoo (ZOO) token has dropped 99.8% from its all-time high.
