The graffiti has been daubed across at least two signs in Scholemoor Cemetery on Necropolis Road in Lidget Green.
A reader got in touch with the Telegraph & Argus to raise their concern over the graffiti.
When the T&A visited the site on Monday (March 11), another sign was spotted with the term spray-painted on it.
In a statement on Monday, Bradford Council said the graffiti would be cleaned up in the next 24 hours.
A council spokesperson said: “Graffiti of any nature is totally unacceptable.
“This will be cleaned up in the next 24 hours.”
