PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — KATU’s Steve Dunn recently road along with a two-person police team that investigates graffiti in Portland.
The team from the Portland Police Bureau has made several high-profile arrests in recent years and turned the cases over to the district attorney’s office.
According to police, 50 to 100 people are responsible for most of the high-profile graffiti in the city and many are from out of town, coming here just to paint on public property.
Ride along with Dunn and the team this Thursday at 6 p.m. on KATU News as part of Dunn’s series, “City in Crisis: Finding Solutions,” to learn what police are doing to curb graffiti in the Rose City.
