SAN ANTONIO – UTSA announced the arrest of one of it’s students, who is accused of spray painting anti-Israel graffiti on a wall of the McKinney Humanities Building.
School president Taylor Eighmy released a statement on Monday saying “There is no room for this behavior at UTSA, and we will not tolerate the disruption of campus activities or damage to university property.
“While we encourage free speech and the free exchange of ideas, we expect our students, faculty and staff to come to campus each day with a spirit of respect for each other.”
The student is facing a couple of charges, including evading arrest. He also could be punished by the school.
