Following the popularity of the Black Lives Matter movement in 2020, white supremacist flyers were dropped on San Antonio.
So perhaps it’s no surprise that white supremacist stickers popped up at the Quarry recently. A post highlighting the white supremacist stickers was added to the San Antonio Reddit page on Tuesday night, garnering more than 537 upvotes and 136 comments.
“This is at the Quarry, a bus stop in front of Snooze,” Reddit user “Puzzleheaded-Resist1” wrote. “I immediately started to pick at it with my nails but didn’t make much headway. Luckily I had a quarter in my pocket, that obliterated it.”
The Quarry location for Snooze, a breakfast eatery, is located 255 E. Basse Road Suite 160.
The stickers proclaim “White Unity” and advertise for something called the Texas NJP, which refers to the National Justice Party. According to the Anti-Defamation League, the NJP is “virulently antisemitic” and calls for an end to all immigration. “White Unity” is a white supremacist phrase, with a “White Unity Conference” held by the Texas-based Aryan Freedom Network, according to the ADL.
“Report it to the city as graffiti, if you don’t have the ability to finish the job yourself,” another user commented on the post. “The city doesn’t want it there anymore than you do.”

The city of San Antonio operates the Graffiti Abatement Program, which is responsible for cleaning up graffiti on sidewalks, curbs, improved drainage easements and retaining walls. The GAP also assists owners and tenants of private property with cleanup.
According to city officials, if racist graffiti or propaganda is on public property, the job of removing it likely would fall to Public Works, responsible for the removal of graffiti from traffic signs and signals and guardrails, or the Building & Equipment Services Department, responsible for most city-owned buildings and infrastructure outside of downtown.
You can report racist graffiti and propaganda to the city by calling 311 or 210-207-6000 or by going through the 311SA Mobile App.
“Good job cleaning up this filth,” another user commented on the Reddit post.
“I was more than willing to do it,” the original poster wrote. “I even brought my box cutter home with me today so I could attack at it a bit more. I remember reading somewhere that if you have the ability to destroy hateful propaganda like that. Make sure to destroy the message and their group logo, website whatever. So people can’t seek them out.”
Many users offered thanks for removing the “trash,” although others warned that some hate groups hide razor blades under their stickers.
“Idiots don’t even know how to slap,” another user wrote. “Tear these down. They don’t belong in my state/country/planet.”
