Main Street Stoughton businesses will once again open their doors for the Sixth Annual Art Walk Stoughton, set for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30.
The event, sponsored by the Stoughton Arts Council, includes a juried art show that highlights regional and local makers from around South Central Wisconsin and beyond with work spanning a full spectrum of disciplines including painting, sculpture, photography, ceramics, glass, mosaics, digital art, jewelry, and woodworking.
The historic downtown’s Arts & Culture District features participating galleries, coffee shops, restaurants and boutiques that will join the day-long celebration of art and music. People are invited to tour the Stoughton Opera House, take part in demonstrations, or stroll along the riverfront while enjoying the tastes and smells from local eateries.
