Smart TV Museum Partnerships

The Samsung Art Store has announced a new collaboration with The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York in a bid to bring a range of iconic artworks to owners of Samsung The Frame TVs. The collaboration will provide users with access to 38 artwork pieces to display in a digital manner on their TV from artists like Vincent Van Gogh, Edgar Degas and more. Users can enjoy a series of digital frames to go with the artwork to truly transform the television set into a work of art when not in use for streaming content.

Head of Global Licensing and Partnerships at The Met Josh Romm spoke on the museum’s collaboration with the Samsung Art Store saying, “Our collaboration with Samsung activates this mission in a new and modern way, allowing consumers to enjoy iconic works from The Met’s collection at home. As users explore the selection and choose works to display, this program will create a new dialogue about art, creativity and technology.”
