Call out to local artists!
Expressions of Interest are now open for a digital art commission. Wyndham-based artists are encouraged to apply. The selected artist will be commissioned to design artwork for gobos that will be part of LIT 2024.
The commission
Wyndham Arts & Culture is commissioning an artwork to feature on pathways and pavements at LIT. The designs will be incorporated into a series of gobos. Gobo is a small circular disc with a stencilled design used to project an image, motif or pattern. Tens of thousands of Wyndham residents and visitors will engage with the artwork during their LIT experience. The commission artist will design a suite of stencils suitable for projection upon the ground. Production of the design will be undertaken by Wyndham Arts & Culture.
About LIT
Now in its third year, LIT is a spectacular night-time event that sees Wyndham Park become a wonderland of colour and discovery with installations, projections and interactive elements. Previous years has seen over 60,000 people attend this much loved Wyndham event.
