A man faces drug and graffiti charges after telling police he wrote his name on a storage container at a business “so the workers would remember him,” according to a magistrate’s complaint filed in Superior Court.
Dave Jo Crisostomo Pecha, 45, was charged Friday with possession of a Schedule II controlled substance as a third-degree felony and graffiti as a misdemeanor.
On Thursday, police were sent to Detry Plumbing Grease and Oil Plant in Sånta Rita-Sumai. A worker found graffiti on a metal storage container that was not there on Wednesday.
Officers examined the unit and saw “10-5-23 Dave Jo Pecha 77 Davey” written in blue. Pecha’s year of birth is 1977.
Police immediately suspected Pecha.
When they interviewed him, he admitted to writing his name in blue permanent marker, the complaint stated.
Pecha was found with a modified glass pipe containing a residue that tested positive for methamphetamine, the complaint stated.
