Oregon Ducks football team joins forces with EPD’s Huckleberry Patrol for graffiti clean-up

On Thursday October 5, 2023 the Eugene Police Department’s (EPD) all-volunteer Huckleberry Patrol Team will team up with the Oregon Ducks football team and UOPD to remove graffiti in Eugene at 4:00 p.m.

The Huckleberry Patrol Team was created to get rid of graffiti in downtown Eugene in 2007, and the team has removed approximately 30,000 graffiti tags. In previous years they have removed an average of 4,000 a year.

Forrest Paint and Home Depot have donated paint and graffiti removal supplies to help make the event possible.

EPD Chief Chris Skinner will speak to players just after 4:00 p.m. To learn more about the Eugene Police Department’s volunteer program, click here. To find out details about the Huckleberry Patrol Team, click here.
