Park washrooms vandalized with racist graffiti in Okanagan Falls

The washroom facilities in Kenyon Park in Okanagan Falls have been closed because of vandalism.

on Monday, Oct. 9, the washrooms were targeted. A door latch, dispensers and stall doors were damaged. Racist graffiti was found on a stall divider in the women’s washroom.

The washrooms will remain closed while repairs are completed. The washrooms nearby in Christie Memorial Park will be open.

The Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen said three young people, two men and one woman, were seen committing the vandalism.
