Sonic The Hedgehog Halloween Special #1 – IDW Publishing gets into the spirit of the season with a new special issue of Sonic the Hedgehog. Vector and Espio of the Chaotix Detective Agency take their little friend, Charmy Bee, out trick or treating. But this Halloween, there is a monster that’s stealing candy from all the kids! The two detectives take up the case to save their little buddy’s sweet rewards from being taken. There’s no mystery they can’t solve, especially with a little help from their friends Sonic and Tails! Fans of Sonic the Hedgehog will love this side story with the Chaotic Detectives while readers of all ages can enjoy a little Halloween fun.
Rover And Speck Splash Down GN – Kids Can Press continues the Rover and Speck series with a new volume. Space explorers Rover and Speck have been sent on a dangerous mission out into deep space. They are visiting Unexplored Planet K2-18b. They splash down on the watery world and narrowly escape being swallowed by a gigantic blubber beast, thanks to Rover’s ingenuity and some furious paddling by Speck. But when they learn that a local spikey-spike has been swallowed by the same beast, they know that they alone can rescue him. They must brave the waters again and risk getting swallowed too. Early graphic novels readers will enjoy this second volume, which is filled with action and humor.
