Author Of Mutts To Visit Princeton’s Bayard Rustin Center

PRINCETON, NJ – The Bayard Rustin Center for Social Justice (BRCSJ) will be hosting author, artist and Mutts creator Patrick McDonnell.

McDonnell will be at BRCSJ to celebrate the release of his new book, “The Superhero’s Journey.” The book is part of the Marvel Universe.

A community conversation and book signing have been scheduled for Dec. 2, at 1 p.m. at BRCSJ.

“I’m looking forward to visiting the Bayard Rustin Center for Social Justice to discuss my new graphic novel with the insightful Robt Martin Seda-Schreiber,” McDonnell said in a statement.

“‘The Super Hero’s Journey’ is something totally different in the Marvel universe. It was the most fun I’ve ever had working on a book, and I couldn’t be more excited about the final product. I’ll be signing (and drawing a superhero!) in everyone’s copy after the talk.”

The MUTTS comic strip now appears in over 700 newspapers in 20 countries and has been in publication for over 25 years.

The Bayard Rustin Center for Social Justice, located at 12 Stockton St. in Princeton NJ is a non-profit dedicated queer safe space, community activist hub, and educational bridge for LGBTQIA youth, intersectional families, and marginalized individuals and groups.
