Mill vandalized with graffiti

The former Park Falls Paper Mill was broken into and vandalized with multiple acts of graffiti, expressing racist and sexual messages, according to a Park Falls Police Department call log.

The call was initiated at approximately 12:55 a.m. on Nov. 3, when Officer Jack Dietrich reported being notified of an open service door at the paper mill by Price County Sheriff’s Office Deputy Daniel Lambert. The paper mill was closed in 2021 and is now used by a few bitcoin miners, according to the report.
