The Enfield North MP’s constituency office in Hertford Road was attacked overnight

Police are investigating “racially aggravated criminal damage” on the constituency office of Enfield North MP Feryal Clark.
The Labour MP’s office in Hertford Road, Enfield Wash, was spray-painted by a vandal on Tuesday night (21st).
Clark uploaded an image to her social media that had been edited to cross out the offending words, but it was clear that it referenced the ongoing conflict in the Middle East between Israel and Gaza.
Clark said on Twitter yesterday (Wednesday 22nd): “The cowards who sprayed graffiti on my office shutters, the police have the CCTV footage, and the paint will be removed today. Next time, just try emailing!”
The Met Police confirmed it was investigating. A spokesperson said: “We are investigating a report of racially aggravated criminal damage at a premises in Hertford Road, Enfield.
“Graffiti which references the conflict between Israel and Hamas has been sprayed on to the office of an MP on Tuesday night (21st November).
“Officers continue to visit the premises during reassurance patrols in the area which have been taking place throughout the day.”
Hate crime against both Muslims and Jews has risen significantly across the UK ever since a Hamas terrorist attack against Israel on 7th October sparked a war in the region that has continued ever since.
