What: Celebrations of Loy Krathong Festival at 10 major piers in Bangkok. Concerts, cultural performances, art exhibitions and street foods are among the main features.

9. Suan Luang Rama IX Park Floral Fair
What: Annual flower show to welcome the cool season at Bangkok’s largest park.
When: December 1 to 10, 8am-7pm

10. Vijit Chao Phraya
What: Light and sound shows along the Chao Phraya River to celebrate the year-end and highlight riverside attractions such as Rama VIII Bridge, Wat Arun, Wichai Prasit Fort, Memorial Bridge and River City Bangkok. Spectacular fireworks and world-class special effects included.
