At the beginning of the month, Lynden resident Lesha Eigenbrood and her husband, Mikhail, brought a smile to Bob Rude’s face after drawing chalk art in front of his auto repair shop at 215 Main St. Eigenbrood said she’s known Bob for many years and has delivered parts to his shop. Only taking the couple about two hours to complete, Lesha Eigenbrood created the chalk art simply as a surprise to him. Eigenbrood has also done other artistic chalk projects around town and has tailored her work to the time of season. (Taras McCurdie/Lynden Tribune)
