Gemma Atkinson was stunned when she found ‘graffiti’ on her home – but worry not, she asked for it to be there. The Hits Radio host enlisted some help to add an extra Christmassy touch to her Greater Manchester home to impress her eldest child.
Gemma will be marking her first festive season as a mum-of-two this year after welcoming her baby son into the world with her Strictly Come Dancing star fiance Gorka Marquez.
Back in July the couple, who met on the BBC One dance contest in 2017, welcomed a son named Thiago Thomas Marquez. Gemma, 39, and Gorka, 33, announced back in January that they were expanding their brood after welcoming their first child, Mia, just over four years earlier at the start of July 2019.

And with Thiago’s first Christmas just around the corner, Gemma has been sprinkling the festiveness around her home, starting over the weekend when she put up the family’s Christmas tree.
But as for the graffiti, the former Hollyoaks and Emmerdale star has since explained that she’d enlisted Scott from Snow Graffiti to carry out the stunning work. The artist specialises in ‘snow’ graffiti, creating beautiful pieces that look like they’re made of, you guessed it, snow.
Gemma opted for a spectacular Frozen display and showed off the artwork on Instagram noting that her little girl Mia will be over the moon with the epic design. Typing over the pictures on her Instagram Story she wrote: “I booked @snow.graffiti.scott to do our window. Mia is going to be so excited after school,” before adding a face holding back tears emojis and a blue heart.
She then showed the work in full with Elsa and Olaf all featured as well as a fluffy-beared Father Christmas. She posted a GIF of an excited Anna from the hit Disney movie, proving she was thrilled with the final product.

Gemma’s festive makeover comes after she opened up about one of her ‘biggest mistakes’ from when she was younger when it comes to her health and fitness. Taking to Instagram, she shared a quote which read: “You’ll never change your life until you change something you do daily. The secret of your success is found in your daily routine.”
She then typed in the caption: “I love this! One of the biggest mistakes i made years ago when I first started training was thinking I had to make the most drastic changes to see results. No sugar, no bread, loads of cardio, no fun. It was stupid and in all honesty a waste of time because it did the complete opposite of what I wanted.
“Small daily habits that become your new norm make all the difference, and you’re likely to be able to stick them way more easily! Things like, if you work on a high floor deciding to take the stairs every day instead of the lift. If you have a daily coffee, try to have it without sugar.”
She continued: “Set the alarm just 10 mins earlier and commit to a quick YouTube stretch video before you start your day. Little things become the big things in your progress and after just 2 wks of implementing the changes they really do become the “Normal”. Years ago I used to buy a bag of haribos every time I put petrol in the car for no reason other than it was a bad habit.
“I told myself instead of haribos I’d get a bottle of water instead. I stuck to it and now, that’s my new habit and I no longer crave those rank glucose, gelatine, dextrose sweets! I have them on occasion if I fancy, not just because I’ve put petrol in my bloody car. Always Start small, because that way, the only way is up!”
