Illiterate vandals too stupid to make their own racist point

Illiterate graffiti vandals who were too stupid to even make their own point have been slammed as a disgrace and appalling. The barely comprehensible message was scrawled in the wall of a young couple’s home in the Heavitree area of Exeter.

The owner posted sarcastically on Facebook as she discovered the damage with her infant twins: “What a lovely message for our six-month-old twins to see graffitied on our house overnight! Is there anyone locally who runs an exteriors cleaning service who might be able to help us clean it off before the babies’ first Christmas at home?”

Aside from floods of offers of help, the mindless and seemingly racist act – a fairly obvious attempt to write ‘f**k Islam’ but spelling both words wrong, her photo brought widespread condemnation of the perpetrators.

One said: “Graffiti is one of my pet hates – just moronic.” Another added: “What an absolute disgrace.”

Someone else wrote: “That is disgusting, and pointless. So sorry this has happened to you.” And another: “That’s absolutely appalling.”

Further comments included: “That’s disgusting and absolutely moronic” and: “Oh that’s absolutely vile and disgusting. I’m so sorry you’ve had to face this.” Several people posted simply: “Absolutely disgusting” while another said: “There are some morons about.”

Someone added: “I wish people would be more tolerant with everyone regardless of who they are are were they come from and the world would be a better place to live in. I do hope this doesn’t spoil your first Christmas with your lovely twins, as I know what our first Christmas was like with our first born.”
