Madison police are investigating a suspected hate crime at a downtown Madison restaurant early Tuesday morning.
Police were alerted to a disturbance at Dubai Mediterranean Restaurant in the 400 block of State Street that took place between 1:30 am and 4:00 pm, where they say one person or potentially a group caused “substantial damage,” including anti-Islamic graffiti, according to PM Livia Novitzke.
