HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. (WLOS) — The HendoKickboxing and Krav Maga parking lot displays several signs, two of which were defaced over the weekend.
One sign that reads, “Stand with Israel against Terrorism,” had “NO TO GENOCIDE” spray painted over it. The other, which advertises a class taught about Israeli Combat Weapons Training had “FREE PALESTINE” spray painted across it.
“I expected it to happen sooner, but a little graffiti doesn’t dissuade me for supporting or promoting what I do,” said Joe Chow, head instructor at HendoKickboxing and Krav Maga in Hendersonville.

Chao said he arrived before daylight Sunday morning, Jan. 14, and didn’t notice the signs until one of his students called his attention to them.
“I didn’t even put it someplace like on the street, where anybody can see; you have to be in my parking lot to see it,” said Chao. “It’s just to show my Jewish and Israeli patrons and members that I feel for them. What they’re going through in Israel and now in Gaza is horrible. War is horrible.”
“Before you go around defacing other people’s property, why not come in and talk about with the business owner? But vandalizing — please, that’s so childish,” Chao said.
He said he will be adding cameras to his parking lot.
