Mumbai: Vanrai Police have registered a case against an unknown person for spray painting graffiti on a Mumbai Metro pillar at Goregaon East. The complaint was lodged based on a statement given by a security officer, Babasaheb Sarode, who is responsible for the security of stations between Gundavali at Andheri East to Anand Nagar at Dahisar East. On Jan 21 when Sarode reported for work, he received a call from the Metro control room about the graffiti spray painted on a pillar, following which he and another security officer inspected the location on the Western Express Highway (northbound arm).Subsequently, he registered a police complaint.
