AUGUSTA (WJBF) – The 5th Street Pedestrian Bridge has already been vandalized.
Graffiti has been sprayed all over parts of the bridge.
The planters have big blue smiley faces on them and other markings on different structures.
The bridge has only been open for about a year and a half.
Wednesday morning, NewsChannel 6 reached out to the city for a comment on how quickly this will be cleaned up.
We are still waiting to hear back.
