Urban art mobilizes for the planet. From February 29 to March 10, 2024, the Parisian gallery Nature Forte opens its doors to the free exhibition “Casqu’on attend?”. For this event, some sixty street artists transform audio headsets destined for the garbage dump into works of art.
Every spring, for the past three editions, the Gravity Festival has taken over the green setting of the Fondation GoodPlanet in Paris to offer street art enthusiasts an artistic and committed event. Described as the first urban arts festival to serve the planet, Gravity is an opportunity to reflect on the future of our planet and the protection of the environment through a series of events centred around committed works on the theme of ecology.
Before returning to Paris this spring for a new 4th edition, Gravity is launching a parallel project this winter. This is what the festival and Notorious Brand, an urban art production agency, have announced on their social networks. Entitled“Casqu’on attend?“, this free exhibition can be seen at the Nature Forte gallery, in the 10th arrondissement, from February 29 to March 10, 2024.
The idea? To entrust 60 urban artists with headphones destined for the garbage bin, so that they can recycle them and transform them into works of art. To give birth to a unique object, ” each artist solicited for the project receives a 30cm by 30cm plank of wood and a set of headphones in their original state “, as explained on social networks. Through this artistic project, which aims to raise awareness of recycling, urban artists are once again mobilizing for the planet.
The result of this exhibition entitled ” Casqu’on attend? ” can therefore be discovered from February 29 to March 10, 2024, from 1pm to 7pm, at Galerie Nature Forte in Paris. Stay tuned to discover the artists invited to take part in this project.
