Graffiti found on Eureka bridge, building

Eureka Police are investigating two incidents involving graffiti. Spray paint was used to write on the former Burger King restaurant building, 235 W. Fifth St., and under a bridge at Beverly and East First streets, police reported.

The graffiti was painted overnight between Feb. 3-4. The word “easy” was written on the former restaurant building, and derogatory words were written under the bridge, the report said.

As of Feb. 12, no suspects had been identified, Capt. Michael Werges said. He asks anyone with information about the incidents to call Eureka Police at 636-938-6600.
