ONTARIO — City officials sprang into action Thursday after the newspaper alerted them to a news tip received about graffiti with anti-Semitic statements and symbolism covering the red globe-shaped swing at Lions Park on the playground near Southwest Second Avenue.
Upon learning about the graffiti, Public Works Director Casey Mordhorst sent staff to take care of the issue “immediately.” He shared photos with the newspaper, which has decided against publishing them due to the nature of the graffiti.
