Colorado students with a passion for the arts are invited to submit their creations for the 2024 K-12 Art Competition.
The national contest for students in grades K-12 will accept art submissions in three categories: physical art, digital art and AI art.
Physical art includes 2D art that is created physically, such as drawings, collages, charcoal and prints.
Digital art includes digital illustrations, pixel art and art created using a computer, smartphone, tablet or other technological device.
AI art includes any image created using AI tools and will be judged based on the prompt entered into the AI software.
The deadline for submissions is March 25.
Students in each category will compete against peers in their grade bands (K-2, 3-5, 6-8 and 9-12).
A panel of judges will review all submissions between March 26 – May 15, with the winners announced in June. Winners could win gift cards for up to $1500 and select students will be invited to an in-person art show overseen by the Stride K-12 creative team.
