PEORIA (25News Now) – Some Peoria residents said they’re concerned after they found Islamophobic graffiti at a City Link bus stop on North Rochelle Lane Wednesday morning.
25News reached out to Peoria Police for more information. The department has not responded to the request.
“I use the service every day,” resident Heather Webb said. “I noticed them yesterday, and it kind of scared me that this is going on around here. I didn’t expect that.”
We reached out to the Jewish Federation of Peoria and the Islamic Center of Peoria for comment.
