PORTLAND, Ore. (KATU) — People driving on West Burnside have something to look for on their next commute.
Local Portland artist Travis Fields spent two months this winter completing a new mural.
It wraps around the back and sides of the Chevron located on West Burnside at Southwest 4th Avenue.
The mural is a tribute to Old Town.
It features images of present and past icons from the area including the late drag icon Darcelle XV.
The Portland Street Art Alliance commissioned the mural.
