Over 400 graffiti on building facades promoting narcotics painted over by police in Bishkek

AKIPRESS.COM – Employees of the Service for Combating Illicit Drug Trafficking of the Bishkek City Police Department conducted a series of operational and preventive raids called “Pharmacy” with pharmacy managers and pharmacists.
Law enforcers reminded about the prohibition of selling potent medications to minors without a doctor’s prescription. Criminal and administrative penalties will be applied for the sale of such medications without proper documentation.
Raid called “Synthetic” was also carried out to prevent violations and crimes related to the illegal drug trade. Police officers, together with representatives of the Technical University, started removing graffiti promoting narcotics. Over 400 criminal graffiti inscriptions were painted over in Bishkek as a result of these efforts.
