FARGO — A local comic and games store is being a super hero for kids in need.
The store is taking donations of comic books and graphic novels and giving them to kids at Sanford Children’s Hospital.
Owner Richard Early lives with glaucoma. A chronic, progressive eye disease.
He said he lost count of how many times he’d been to the hospital when he was a boy, and that comic books have the power to be more then just a good read.
“The biggest thing I think is that it’s really important for people to be able to be who they want to be, and identify that it’s okay to be who they want to be so you can see that bravery and boldness in comic books.” Says Early.

People have until the store closes on Sunday evening, March 3, to drop off donations.
