Campus threat forces Kamehameha Schools Kapalama closure Monday

HONOLULU (Island News) — Concerns raised over a threat of violence depicted in graffiti and shared on social media has caused school officials to cancel class Monday for Kamehameha Schools Kapalama.

In a statement, KSK stated, “The safety and well-being of our haumana and staff remains our highest priority. We are concerned that a photo is being shared on social media of graffiti that threatens violence on campus on Monday, April 15. We immediately reported the threat to the Honolulu Police Department, which is currently investigating the situation to determine the source and veracity of the threat.”
